Year of Roses Spritz

Happy New Year all!

This is perfect for watching the Rose Parade, watching a bowl games, celebrating the New Year or anytime.


3 - 4 c. sparkling water

1 T. lemon juice or lime juice

Ice 

2 - 4 T. rose syrup 


Place 4 clean glasses in freezer to chill.

To serve:

Remove glasses from freezer.

Place ice in bottom of glasses.

Squeeze some lemon juice over ice. 

Spoon desired amount of rose syrup in glass.

Top glasses off with sparkling water or club soda.

Serves 4.

So Easy Hurricanes

This is a family friendly version that’s perfect for Mardi Gras or anytime. 4 - 6 oz. each: passion fruit juice, pineapple juice 1 c. orange juice Ice 2 T. grenadine  For each hurricane: In a cocktail shaker combine ice, some of the passion fruit juice, pineapple juice, orange juice.  Put lid on shaker and shake for a few seconds. Put ice in the bottom of a clean hurricane glass and pour cocktail over glass.  Drizzle some grenadine into cocktail. Serves 4.

Lucky Leprechaun Spritz

This is perfect for St. Patricks’ Day, watching March Madness or anytime. 4 - 6 oz. whiskey 4 c. lemon lime soda Ice  green food coloring  Place 4 clean glasses in freezer to chill for a few minutes. To serve: Remove glasses from freezer. Place ice in bottom of glasses. Squeeze 1 - 2 drops of food coloring in glasses. Add whiskey to glasses, top off each glass with lemon lime soda.  Stir with a clean straw to mix.  Serves 4.
