Cherry Icee

 Happy National Icee Day all! It's perfect on a warm day or anytime. 1/2 c. fresh pitted cherries 3/4 - 1 c. cold water 1 /8 - 1/4 c. sugar 2 - 4 c. ice Rinse, pit, cut cherries in half, place in sauce pan. Fill saucepan with cold water, add sugar. Place sauce on stove, add sugar to sauce pan, bring to a boil.  Reduce heat, stir for and let cook for a few minutes. Turn stove off and let it cool.  After cherry mixture has cooled, strain cherry mixture into blendrr Add remaining ingredients in blender, blend for 20 - 30 sec. Pour into 4 clean glasses. Serves 4.

Flirty Fizz

This is perfect for late summer, tailgating, girls night, movie night or anytime. 2 - 3 c. pineapple juice Ice 4 - 6 oz. vodka 2 c. club soda 1 orange juiced 8 Pineapple cubes Place 4 clean glasses in freezer or refrigerator to chill for a few minutes. Rinse, cut 1 orange in half, set aside. Open can of pineapple chunks, drain juice, set aside In a cocktail shaker, combine ice, vodka, pineapple juice.  Squeeze orange juice into shaker.  Place lid on shaker, shake cocktail shaker for a few seconds.  Take glasses out of freezer. Place ice in bottom of glasses.  Remove lid from shaker.  Strain cocktail into glasses.  Skewer pineapple chunks with toothpicks. Garnish glasses with pineapple chunks. Serves 4.

Salty Dog

This is perfect on a hot days, while watching the Rocket Mortgage Classic, brunch or anytime. 2 - 3 c. grapefruit juice 4 - 6 oz. vodka 1 T.  salt  (enough to rim glasses) Ice Place salt on a clean plate. Wet rims of 4 clean glasses with a clean wet paper towel. Place glasses rim side down on plate to coat rims with salt. Place glasses in freezer to chill for a few minutes. Remove glasses from freezer. Place ice in bottom of glasses. Pour vodka over ice into glasses. Top off glasses with grapefruit juice. Serves 4. 

French 26 Fizz

  This is perfect to celebrate Bastille Day, watching the World Cup or anytime. 4 - 6 oz. gin  1 T. premade elderflower syrup 1 tsp. lemon juice Ice 4 c. sparkling water/club soda Place 4 clean glasses in freezer to chill for a few minutes. Remove glasses from freezer. In the bottom of glasses, place ice.  Add gin, elderflower syrup to glasses.  Squeeze lemon juice into glasses.  Top off with sparkling water or club soda. Stir with a clean straw to mix. Serves 4. 

Lemon Drop Snow

Happy 4th of July weekend all! Perfect for pool side, watching fireworks or anytime.  3 - 4 c. lemonade 4 - 6 oz. vodka Combine ingredients in clean pitcher, stir. Pour lemonade in ice cube trays,  place in freezer until frozen.  Remove ice cube trays from freezer and place ice in shaved ice maker or blender. Crush ice until it's the consistency of snow, 20 - 30 sec and pour into clean glasses. Enjoy! Serves 4.

3 Countries Lemonade

  The World Cup's not just near, it's here.  This lemonade's inspired by the three countries who are hosting the matches. Mexico:  Tajin, tequila Canada: maple syrup USA: lemonade This is perfect for watching the games or anytime. 4 - 6 c. prepared lemonade 4 - 6 oz. tequila  1 - 2 tsp. each: maple syrup, tajin 1 tsp. salt Ice Sprinkle salt, tajin on a clean plate. Spoon some maple syrup onto a clean plate. Places glasses rim side down to coat with maple syrup. Then place glasses rim side down to coat with tajin, salt. Place glasses in refrigerator to chill for a few minutes.  To serve: Remove glasses from refrigerator.  Place ice in bottom of glasses.  Pour tequila in glasses. Top glasses off with lemonade.  Serves 4.

Winners Circle Lemonade

This weekend's the Preakness. This is perfect to enjoy on race day or anytime.  Enjoy! 4 c. premade lemonade 4 - 6 oz. vodka  1 package fresh blackberries Ice Rinse blackberries in a strainer. Skewer 2 blackberries on 4 clean toothpicks, set aside. In the bottom of a clean glass, place 2 - 3 blackberries.  With the back of a clean spoon, muddle blackberries. Add ice. Pour vodka over ice.  Pour lemonade over ice. Garnish with blackberry skewers. Serves 4.
