Sweet & Sour Mix

This is perfect to serve as a mixer for a party, game day or anytime. 1 each: lemon, lime, juiced 1/8 - 1/4 c. sugar  1 c. cold water  Rinse and cut lemon and lime in half. Through a sieve, juice lemon and lime into a clean jar, set aside. Turn on faucet and run cold water for a few seconds, put some cold water into a clean saucepan. Turn on stove to high heat.  Combine sugar and water in saucepan and place pan on stove burner, bring water to a boil. Lower heat on stove to medium, stir water with a clean wooden spoon so that sugar gets dissolved. Once sugar is dissolved, turn off burner and let sugar water cool off for awhile.  Once syrup is cooled, pour sugar water into jar with juice. Make sure lid is screwed on jar and shake for a few seconds to mix. Place jar in fridge until your ready to use.  Serves 4 - 8.

Spiked Shirley

  This is perfect for a holiday or anytime. 4 c. lemon lime soda (regular or diatetic) 1/8 - 1/4 c. grenadine (adjust amount desired) Ice 4- 6 oz. Vodka In a clean pitcher, place ice. Pour grenadine over ice. Add vodka. Add soda to pitcher, stir to mix. Place pitcher in fridge until ready to serve. Serves 4.

Cranberry Sparkle

Need a family friendly mocktail for the holidays, try this. Enjoy! 2 c.  cranberry juice 4 c. club soda Ice Put ice in the bottom of a pitcher. Combine juice ,  club soda over ice. Mix well with a clean wooden spoon, chill pitcher in refrigerator until ready to serve . Serves 4
