Golden Gal Martini

This cocktail was inspired by the great Betty White.



4 - 6 oz. vodka

1 oz. vermouth

1/2 - 1 tsp. lemon juice 

Ice


Place 4 clean martini in the freezer to chill for a few minutes.


In a cocktail shaker combine: ice, vodka, vermouth, lemon juice.


Place lid on cocktail shaker and shake for a few seconds.


Remove glasses from freezer. 


Remove lid from shaker and strain cocktail into glasses.


Serves 4.

This is perfect for New Years, brunch, girls night or anytime. 1 bottle white wine 2 tangerines 2 c. club soda 1/4 - 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. blueberries  Ice Peel, section, tangerines. Rinse blueberries. In the bottom of a clean pitcher, place ice. Add berries, tangerines, sugar. Pour wine over fruit and stir to mix. Place in refrigerator to chill until ready to serve. Blue Skies Margaritas

This is perfect for Memorial Day Weekend or anytime.  4 c. margarita mix Ice salt (enough to coat rims) 4 - 6 oz. tequila  2 oz. triple sec Blue food coloring  Wet the rims of 4 clean glasses with a clean wet napkin. Put salt on a clean plate and place glasses rim side down on plate to coat glasses. Place margarita glasses in freezer to chill for a few minutes. In the bottom of a clean pitcher, place ice.  Combine a couple of drops of food coloring & triple sec in the bottom of a clean glass.  Stir to mix with a clean fork.  Add tequila, triple sec and margarita mix to pitcher. Stir with a clean wooden spoon and place in refrigerator until ready to serve. To serve: Remove pitcher from fridge, glasses from freezer and pour margaritas into glasses. Serves 4.

Last Days Of Summer Slush

This week is the last week of summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Fall starts on Saturday. This is a great way to keep cool during the last days of summer, while watching a movie, game day or anytime. 1/2 c. powdered drink mix 1 c. cold water 2 - 3 c. ice Combine ingredients in a blender. Blend for 15 - 30 sec. or until it becomes slushy. Serves 4.
