Raspberry Lemonade

This is perfect for summer or anytime.

1 c. - 1  1/2 c. fresh lemon juice (2 - 4 large lemons)

1/4 - 1/3 c. sugar

4 c. cold water

1/3 - 1/2 c. raspberries

Ice

Cut lemons in half.

Put halved lemon in microwave for 10 sec.

Put ice into bottom of a clean pitcher.

I've used an electric citrus juicer, but you can squeeze juice through sieve with your hands or citrus squeezer into pitcher.

Fill a clean pot with cold water, and place on the stove.

Bring pot to a boil.

Lower heat, add sugar and raspberries.

Stir until sugar is dissolved with a wooden spoon and let cool for a few minutes.

Pour cooled syrup through a sieve into pitcher and stir to mix.

Place pitcher in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Serves 6 - 8.
