 This is great for a cold Michigan day or anytime.


4 envelopes hot chocolate mix
4 - 6 c. hot coffee
Pinch each: cayenne pepper or red pepper flakes, cinnamon
1 can whipped cream spray



In the bottom of 4 clean coffee mugs, put hot chocolate mix, cayenne pepper, cinnamon.

Pour coffee over hot chocolate mixture and stir. 

Top with whipped cream.

Serves 4.

Winter Sangria

Happy New Year all! This is perfect for New Years, brunch, girls night or anytime. 1 bottle white wine 2 tangerines 2 c. club soda 1/4 - 1/3 c. sugar 1/4 c. blueberries  Ice Peel, section, tangerines. Rinse blueberries. In the bottom of a clean pitcher, place ice. Add berries, tangerines, sugar. Pour wine over fruit and stir to mix. Place in refrigerator to chill until ready to serve. To serve: Remove sangria from fridge and pour into 4 clean glasses.  Top sangria off with club soda.  Serves 4.

Peppermint Vodka

This is perfect for holiday cocktails, as a gift or anytime. I used 1 piece of candy but you can use 2 candies if needed. 1 - 2 peppermint candies (adjust amount)  4 - 6 oz. vodka In a small clean jar combine ingredients. Put lid on jar, shake to mix, place in refrigerator until ready to use. Serves 4.
