Honey Dooz
This is my version of the cocktail classic.
This is great while watching tennis, company or a late summer day.
6 - 8 oz. vodka
1/3 c. fresh raspberries
2 - 3 c. prepared lemonade
Ice
1/2 c. melon balls
Rinse raspberries through a strainer under running cold water, pat raspberries dry with a clean paper towel.
In a clean jar combine raspberries & vodka, screw on lid and place jar in refrigerator for a few days.
When you’re ready to use, remove jar from fridge.
Cut melon in half and scoop 8 melon balls from melon.
Skewer 2 melon balls on 4 toothpicks, set aside.
Place ice in the bottom of 4 clean glasses.
Unscrew lid from jar & strain desired amount of vodka through a tea strainer into glasses.
Top glasses off with lemonade and garnish glasses with melon.
Serves 4.
